Intel Galileo Gen 2

2018-07-01 I have decided to start documenting all my work with the Intel Galileo Gen 2 Board. It will be mostly about Arduino stuff I assume but there might be occasional Galileo Gen 2 specific.

This is my favourite breadboard. I wish I had one for my other development boards.

If you look at the serial connection you will see i used a much cheaper TTL serial cable and you only need (3) pins. RXD, TXD and GND.

You don't need to purchase an expensive "FTDI" cable with the 6-pin connector. In the photo above, I am using a Raspberry Pi Model B and I am running Minicom at 115K baud and everything works well.

2019-08-30 I printed some base for the Galileo Gen 2 units that I did not have mounted on the breadboard. Clay's Kits Galileo Gen 2 breadboard is very nice but I just needed a chassis for some other units. This design came from Thingiverse, see https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:936696

The holes on the side of the case are for external WIFI antennae.
